We aspire to be the industry leader in fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates culture and strengthens collaboration. By embracing cultural awareness and developing inclusive leaders we will build a community that inspires engagement, loyalty, and shared success – powering progress for future generations.
The Inclusion Council is a group of senior leaders dedicated to advancing Sonepar’s Inclusion Mission: ensuring every associate feels a deep sense of belonging and care. The Council champions the work of our eight Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and drives enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen inclusion, support community impact, and advance our Purpose—Powering Progress for Future Generations.

ADAPT promotes disability inclusion and associate wellbeing by increasing awareness, supporting mental health, and driving progress toward becoming a Best Place to Work for People with Disabilities through Disability:IN.
ASPIRE honors and celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) heritage through cultural events—such as Lunar New Year—and community building initiatives like their annual AAPI Heritage Cookbook.
BOLD uplifts Black associates through cultural celebrations, community outreach, and professional development opportunities, including partnerships with organizations like the Executive Leadership Council.
Connect brings together early career professionals to focus on growth, networking, and community service. The group supports organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Boys & Girls Club.
Hispanos Unidos celebrates Latino culture, heritage, and language while fostering connection and service across communities. The group partners with organizations like Latinas Leading Tomorrow.
MERGE supports veterans and military spouses by building awareness, partnering with militaryserving organizations, and creating a Military Friendly workplace. Initiatives include recruiting support and community outreach with groups like the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
Pride empowers LGBTQ+ associates, families, and allies to bring their full, authentic selves to work. The group fosters inclusion through education, visibility, and supportive community-building.
WATT inspires and supports women at Sonepar through professional development, networking, and community outreach. Key partnerships include Habitat for Humanity Women Build and Girls Inc.
